Ta'iyyah Ibn taymiyyah تائية ابن تيمية

أَنَا الْفَقِيرُ إِلَى رَبِّ الْبَرِيَّاتِ * أَنَا الْمُسَيْكِينُ فِي مَجْمُوعِ حَالَاتِي

I am the poor one in need of the Lord of all created beings.
I am the needy one in the all of my states.

أَنَا الظَّلُومُ لِنَفْسِي وَهْيَ ظَالِمَتِي * وَالْخَيْرُ إِنْ يَاتِنَا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ يَاتِي

I wrong my soul, and it wrongs me.
And any good, if it comes to us, comes from Him.

لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ لِنَفْسِي جَلْبَ مَنْفَعَةٍ * وَلَا عَنِ النَّفْسِ لِي دَفْعُ الْمَضَرَّاتِ

I am not able, for myself, to bring about any benefit,
Nor do I possess the ability to repel harms from myself.

وَلَيْسَ لِي دُونَهُ مَوْلًى يُدَبِّرُنِي * وَلَا شَفِيعٌ إِذَا حَاطَتْ خَطِيئَاتِي

And I have no master besides Him who manages my affairs,
Nor any intercessor when my sins surround me.

وَلَسْتُ أَمْلِكُ شَيْئًا دُونَهُ أَبَدًا * وَلَا شَرِيكٌ أَنَا فِي بَعْضِ ذَرَّاتِ

And I do not possess anything independently of Him, ever.
Nor am I a partner (with Him) even in a single particle.

وَلَا ظَهِيْرٌ لَهُ كَيْ يَسْتَعِينَ بِهِ * كَمَا يَكُونُ لِأَرْبَابِ الْوِلَايَاتِ

Nor is there any supporter for Him whom He relies upon for assistance,
As is the case with the owners of authorities.

وَالْفَقْرُ لِي وَصْفُ ذَاتٍ لَازِمٌ أَبَدًا * كَمَا الْغِنَى أَبَدًا وَصْفٌ لَهُ ذَاتِي

And neediness is an essential and necessary attribute to me forever.
Just as self-sufficiency is eternally an essential attribute to him

وَهَذِهِ الْحَالُ حَالُ الْخَلْقِ أَجْمَعُهُمْ * وَكُلُّهُمْ عِنْدَهُ عَبْدٌ لَهُ آتِي

And this state is the state of all creation altogether,
And every one of them, before Him, is a servant who will come to Him.

فَمَنْ بَغَى مَطْلَبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ خَالِقِهِ * فَهُوَ الْجَهُولُ الظَّلُومُ الْمُشْرِكُ الْعَاتِي

So whoever seeks a need from other than his Creator,
Then he is the ignorant, the unjust, the transgressing Mushrik.

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْءَ الْكَوْنِ أَجْمَعَهُ * مَا كَانَ مِنْهُ وَمَا مِنْ بَعْدُ قَدْ يَاتِي

And all praise belongs to Allah, filling the entire universe altogether
for what has already been of it, and for what will yet come thereafter.
